# EveryPivot™ Trademark Notice

**EveryPivot™** is an unregistered trademark associated with the EveryPivot
Project. First public use of the mark in connection with the graph-pivot
pattern registry dates from the initial commit of this repository (see
`git log --reverse`).

## What you may do

- Refer to the project by name to describe its origin or to attribute reused
  patterns and tooling (nominative fair use). For example:
  *"Pattern definitions from EveryPivot."*
- State that your product is *compatible with* or *built on* EveryPivot, so
  long as such statements are accurate and do not imply endorsement.

## What you may not do

- Use **EveryPivot**, **Every Pivot**, or confusingly similar names to
  identify your own product, service, fork, mirror, registry, or business.
- Use the EveryPivot name or any logo to suggest sponsorship, endorsement,
  or affiliation that does not exist.
- Register **EveryPivot** (or a confusingly similar mark) as a domain name,
  social-media handle, package name, or trademark in any jurisdiction.

A fork of the source code or pattern corpus under Apache-2.0 / CC BY 4.0
must be renamed before public distribution.

## Reporting trademark concerns

If you become aware of a misuse of the EveryPivot mark, or if you would
like written permission to use the name in a way not covered by the
nominative fair-use cases above, please open an issue on the project
repository or contact the maintainer.
